We had an incredible time at the 2025 Reservation Economic Summit, by the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development (NCAIED). We attend this incredible event every year, and are always impressed with the invaluable resources and speakers available to us. Not to mention the networking opportunities that are second to none within the Native American business community.
But, despite having our headquarters in the Phoenix metropolitan area, we always drive to Las Vegas and never fly. Why? Because it gives us the opportunity to come back home.
We were born and raised in Kayenta, AZ on the Navajo Nation. Growing up, we were always surrounded by incredible family and friends, but also constant reminders of the economic hardships of Indian Country.
Working as everything from a welder, to construction to later founding a digital marketing agency – personally seeing how many employers on the Navajo Nation didn’t live in the rez was shocking. Then, watching the entire Indigenous tourism industry collapse and struggle to recover after the COVID-19 pandemic, inspired us to create Native American Tours – later Laguna Creek.
Laguna Creek has grown by leaps and bounds over the last two years – allowing us to continually reinvest in our products and people to make the company stronger. But we will never forget where we came from, and why we started this journey.
We are determined to take Indigenous tourism to new heights and keep more tourism revenue on Indian land – creating good paying jobs. We want to see Indigenous people thriving, not just surviving, and know that tourism is the key. We also are giving back – dedicating 10% of all profits to charitable events in Indian Country.
So we are excited to announce that our 2025 Laguna Creek event will be taking place May 27, 2025 on the Navajo Nation.
If you’re interested in helping out, we’d love for you to join us. Just give us a call, or contact us, and we look forward to seeing you there.
